Hi, I’m Francesca
I’ve loved travelling for as long as I can remember, though during my first years in the sunshine I probably had much less appreciation for cultures, architecture and scenery and more for the amount of ice cream I could eat and the quality of my sandcastle building.
That being said, the one thing I have always been is a foodie – pretty much the only thing I remember about my Year 6 SATS exams was writing very passionately about the Spanish dish paella – all swirling flamenco skirts and imagery and mouthwatering smells.
A relatively new change in my lifestyle has brought about a new relationship with food – I started experimenting with going gluten-free in 2016, and many tests for Coeliac Disease followed. I’m now firmly decided that my health is greatly improved by being gluten-free, which rather throws a spanner in the works when I’m travelling.
So here, for what it’s worth, is a bit of rambling from me about my wanderings and ponderings, all whilst searching for those Gluten Free Horizons!
