Aaargh! Roaring our way around Dublin with Viking Splash

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Generally speaking, getting on a guided bus tour is my idea of hell. However, when the bus is amphibious, you don Viking helmets and you have some genuinely interesting history delivered in Irish brogue…well, then I can give it the time of day! We had two days in Dublin on our Royal Princess cruise, and we saw these distinctive yellow amphibious buses driving around and could hear a lot of laughter coming from them, so it piqued our interest! We got our tickets online on our phones and met the bus at Stephen’s Green North, close to Grafton Street. We took our seat and donned our Viking Helmets. Our tour was guided by Aidan, who did an excellent job of keeping everyone entertained and informed. He started off by explaining that for the next hour and fifteen minutes, we had to adopt our best Norse roars as we passed by different types of ‘Celts’.
