I want to keep this site a safe space and keep the trust and confidence of my visitors. I don’t intend to ever share or pass on email lists or anything else dodgy with other companies and businesses. This Privacy Policy will cover what information I collect, how I use it and how I keep it secure.

These cookies do not collect personal information but monitor your behaviour whilst browsing (which I view in Google Analytics). If you leave a comment on my website you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. This is so it’ll save you time if you comment again however this is optional.

These cookies and the information they collect help improve this site for yourself and future visitors by monitoring traffic of users and success of particular content, which helps me make my blog better. Google Analytics

When someone visits http://glutenfreehorizons.com I use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This is to monitor things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site and how visitors find my website. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. I do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

 

How I use the information I collect

I may collect and use personal information for the following reasons:

  • To improve our Site – some information can help improve the information and services I provide

I am planning on releasing e-newsletters to inform readers about new blog posts, competitions and giveaways I may run – to do this I do collect personal information. I will only use that information to tell you about stuff you’ve asked me to tell you about. I don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations, blogs or businesses.

Iuse a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver my newsletter. This gathers statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve our email campaigns.
